About Us
The Bowie High School Boys Lacrosse program has been growing steadily since its inception just over ten years ago, thanks to the increased popularity of the sport both nationally and locally. In the past few years our local middle schools, Clint Small and Bailey Middle School, have launched Lacrosse programs that are providing the Bowie program with an expanding pool of talent.
As a member of the Texas High School Lacrosse League Central District, the Bowie Lacrosse team has consistently been a top competitor in the Hill Country Division II. In the 2006 season, the team advanced to the State Championship Tournament. This past season, 2006-07, the Bulldogs were runners-up in the Central District Division II. 5 of our players earned all-District honors and 7 earned all-State honors. Due to the continued growth and success of the program, Bowie has moved up from Division II and will compete this year in Division I. We enter this new year of competition with great enthusiasm for the sport and for the opportunity it gives our players, coaches and parents to come together to enjoy great athletics, outstanding competition and team camaraderie. Join us in celebrating yet another great season of Lacrosse, the fastest growing sport in the nation!
